OUR PROJECTS

More than 150 research and consulting projects have been developed by our staff since 1992, mainly on the following topics:

§ Assessing the safe yield and delineating the protection areas of groundwater sources - pumping wells, drains and captured springs.

§ Concession studies for: mineral water bottling, geothermal energy utilization, municipal gasification, mineral deposits development, water supply and sewerage exploitation, etc.

§ Environmental impact assessment of uranium mines, community landfills, gasoline stations, livestock farms, large groundwater supply and drainage systems, etc.

§ Geotechnical investigations of landslides, mines, building and industrial sites, etc.

§ Methodical development of state regulations for groundwater monitoring, waste disposal, groundwater resources evaluation, etc.

We have also constructed, under government commission, the first fully digital groundwater map of Bulgaria in 1:500000 scale, applying an original methodology for aquifer dividing and hydrogeological data visualization.
